Brigitte has a knack for clean lines and geometric shapes, and creating looks that are both chic and low-maintenance, requiring very little daily styling.
Brigitte began her career at 16, working in her aunt’s hair studio in Vancouver. She has a creative flair and an eye for style from a young age, and these attributes grew into a passion for styling hair. She dreamed of one day opening her own hair studio.
She moved to Toronto in 2003 to train and work at the world-renowned Vidal Sassoon Academy, where she honed her skills, becoming an expert in cutting and texturing hair.
She then spent several years travelling around the world, working learning, and further sharpening her skills is places as diverse as Paris and Dallas.
With a combination of talent and a sharp business mind, it was only a matter of time before Brigitte decided to go into business for herself. She moved back to Toronto and opened Stylewave in 2010, where she has been blissfully living her dream, and doing what she loves, for 5 years.
